There aren’t loads of lunch set options during the day, but the flavour and portion sizes really stand out. The beef short ribs were rich and tender, and the bits of tendon still attached to the bone had a great texture and were full of flavour. The kimchi tofu soup had that perfect mix of spicy, salty and tangy — totally moreish. The black bean noodles had that classic Korean taste, proper traditional. The spicy stir-fried squid had a great kick and nice wok hei, though the squid itself could’ve done with a bit more marinating. The spicy chicken was full of flavour too, but the meat wasn’t quite as tender as it could’ve been, and the sauce was a bit on the watery side. With all the complimentary Korean side dishes thrown in, it was more than enough for four adults — we were absolutely stuffed!

me and my friend went here tonight and it was absolutely amazing !!! they gave us a free dish as well !! the price was really good and the food was out of this world. i recommend this place so much. thank you guys!! we will be back xx

Absolutely recommend this restaurant! Great house made food with good portions. We were impressed by their kimchi. We just finished a bowl of rice with it. What I really like about their food is that it is not overly salty or artificially flavored. We ordered five dishes and they were all perfect. I was surprised it only has medium-high Google reviews. You will find good quality food here.

The service is really good here. The waitress here is very friendly, which made the experience another level. I highly recommend the 'spicy seasoned pig ear salad' if you like spicy or 'Guobaorou' sweet and sour pork which is crunchy sweet and sour. The food portion is friendly and they do not charge service charge. Will definitely come again!

I could tell this place was the real deal as soon as I walked in—most of the customers were Korean, which is always a good sign. The side dishes were absolutely delicious. We ordered the tteokbokki, samgyetang, and the pork and squid BBQ. The portions were generous, but we managed to finish everything because it was just that good. We also didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served, which was a nice bonus. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the New Malden area. I’ll definitely try the other dishes when I come back.

The restaurant has had a redesign and has a new owner. The food is great and haven't found value anywhere like this outside of Korea. After living in Korea for many years, this is the closest thing that compares in terms of both taste and value. Highly recommend!
